Snack Supper Routine for Parent Volunteers

Snack Suppers Sunday Night Routine


Parent Help Needed:

Four Adults Each Sunday

  • For youth management
  • Food preparation and service
  • For clean up and supervision of youth clean-up
Menu Items Provided
  • Two Liter Drinks

Routine:

  • 4:00 Parents arrive to prepare food
  • 5:00 Youth set up tables and chairs in foyer
  • 5:00 Youth Prayer
  • 5:05 Serve food
  • 5:30 Youth clean tables, put table and chairs away and empty trash and place in small foyer
  • 5:30 Place food in zip lock bags and place in box in freezer for homeless Ministry
  • Clean dishes and kitchen
  • Empty trash
  • Sweep and mop floors as needed

Check List

  • Make sure chairs and tables are put away properly in hallway closet
  • Tables to the right of chairs leaning against wall
  • Chairs hanging upside down on chair rack
  • Make sure trash is empty in all foyer and kitchen trash cans
  • Make sure any spills or cleaned up and mopped clean
  • Turn off Kitchen A.C.’s – there are three

Menu with detailed list:

· Spaghetti with garlic bread

  • Pasta – 2 large packs
  • Readymade Sauce – three large jars
  • Meat – two pounds
  • 40 Bread sticks or three French bread loaves
  • Cookies or dessert for 30
· Hot dogs with chili
  • Buns
  • Hotdogs
  • Chili – 1 large can (Not industrial size)
  • Cookies or dessert for 30
· Tacos/taco salads
  • Taco Shells
  • Meat
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Sour Cream
  • Cheese
  • Beans – 1 Large
  • Cookies or dessert for 30
· Potato’s with fixin’s
  • 30 potato’s
  • Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Bacon Bits (optional)
  • Green Onion
  • Brownies
· Nacho’s
  • Chips – two large bags or 1 Sam’s large size
  • Nacho Cheese Sauce (Industrial Size Can)
  • Fruit – fruit slices (ten apples or oranges)
  • Cookies or dessert for 30
· Burgers
  • 40 burgers
  • 40 Buns
  • Sliced cheese – one large pack
  • Tomato/lettuce – tomatoes and one head of lettuce
  • Chips – two large bags
  • Cookies or dessert for 30
