Apartment Outreach

We have the opportunity to serve monthly meals at a mobile home community behind Cristina’s on Shiloh Road. Volunteers will help grill hamburgers and hot dogs, pass out chips and cookies and build relationships with the families who live there.

Wednesday Meals

CCA clients gather every Wednesday night for Bible study classes. We can help by serving meals for 10-12 adults and kids, and providing childcare during the two-hour class (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.). This is an ideal opportunity for small groups.

We help provide food to Salvation Army-Denton for their Saturday night meals. Volunteers are needed to pick up food every week from local businesses including
You can also serve dinner, with the help of a full-time cook at Salvation Army. No kitchen experience necessary…just a giving heart! We pick up a bag of sandwiches every Wednesday morning from Chick fil A at Founder’s Square (FM 2499 and FM 3040) and deliver it to the day laborers who gather at the corner of Mill Street and Business 121.

First Sunday Dallas Homeless
You can join a caravan heading to The Bridge in downtown Dallas to pass out sleeping bags, clothing and seasonal items to our homeless brothers and sisters. Brett Mullins and Jim Lamb coordinate.

Meals on Wheels
Volunteers deliver noon meals to homebound seniors Monday through Friday in Denton County from pick-up sites in Lewisville and other areas of Denton County. Contact Linda Whitaker for more information.
