What organization is the recipient of the blood?

Carter BloodCare. Founded in 1998 by the merger of two local blood centers, Carter BloodCare is Texas' largest blood center. In April of 2007, Carter BloodCare announced a merger with Tyler-based Stewart Regional Blood Center. Together, they provide more than 330,000 units of lifesaving blood to North Central and East Texas each year, all thanks to generous donors like you! Learn more here:

How does Flower Mound United Methodist Church support Carter BloodCare?

Twice yearly, in the spring and the fall, Carter BloodCare sends a mobile unit to the church parking lot to receive donations. The dates are typically the second Sunday in February and the third Sunday in October.

How long does it take to donate?

Typically, 30 to 45 minutes.
