When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs."
Again Jesus said, "Simon, son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep."
The third time, He said to him, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep."

As FMUMC members, we also declare that we love Him. How do we go about feeding His sheep? We can start by feeding those in our community who are literally hungry. (Of course, our chuch also serves those who are spiritually hungry.) Our FHS teams are making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than typical members of our congregation. As we do so, we're also making a difference in our own lives and in our spiritual growth.
Please join us as we answer Jesus' call to feed His sheep by providing meals at the Denton Salvation Army, for local day laborers, and families that are clients of Christian Community Action (CCA) through our Apartment Outreach program. You can learn more about the specifics, then get involved in this important work. Thanks for your prayerful consideration of the opportunity to feed His sheep!
