Flower Mound United Methodist's UMM group is raising funds for Communities in Schools of North Texas (www.cisnt.org), a group that works to help kids stay in school.
The UMM Giving Tree provides members of the church an easy way to make an impact in supporting students returning to school at Central Elementary in Lewisville. That school serves many families who cannot afford to pay for all or even any of the required supplies for attending school.
You can make a difference in the lives of these families by pulling items off the UMM Giving Tree and following the instructions each item contains. Specifically, you will find a list of school supplies that typically cost a total of about $15. Please collect these items and return them to the church by Sunday, August 10th.
UMM and the students, families and faculty of Central Elementary thank you for your generosity!
