Stewardship

When we join the United Methodist Church, we commit to being good stewards - stewards who uphold the church with our prayers, our presence, our gifts, and our service.

Through prayer we connect with God. Through our presence in worship and small groups we learn about the Lord and build a faith community. Through our gifts we return what is God's so that God's work continues. Through our service we become God's hands that nurture, heal, and uphold Christ's children.

And in all of these we discover God's joy. Bountiful, enduring, sustaining joy!

We learned how through prayer, presence, gifts, and service, each of us is called to nurture, to reach out, and to witness to others.

You are invited to be open to what God knows is possible in your stewardship as you thoughtfully ask, "Where am I N.O.W.?"

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-7
